Orinoco error . Did you see it ?

Hi all When i bought it, i think it was a good idea.Probably it is a good card ! I ve got and Orinoco Gold Firm 7.28 on my toshiba laptop 2450 ( kernel 2.6.14 --> debian source). I use the driver 0.15rc4. Tried to use kismet and it is ok .. But the orinoco card stop with this message : hermes @

Is it possible to compile a standalon orinoco driver ?

Hi all I need and information please. I would like to kown if it is possible to compile a standalone orinoco driver ( i would like to compile the 0.15RC4) on debian kernel 2.6.14. i ve made many tests and i compile my kernek many time but i failed : how can i do ? Have you got some hints ? Thank
