back at home I installed those 2 packages, but was unable to fully
configure them.

I was under the assumtpion of having read 96x
Hey, I wish to to know which network auto-detect utility do you use or
recommend, if any?
For the moment, I am just using the laptop at home, and I have a dhcp
server running, but I may improve the network here and wanted to have
a more flexible environment at the notebook.

As usual, Debian installed smoothly on this machine, and after a
dpkg-reconfigure xserver-xorg, everything went just fine.
However, I am trying to find some more information on how to put X at
96 dpi, which as I recall, some doc on the web mentioned is the proper
resolution of the 1024x76
