I configured my country correctly with AT+GCI=## and now I don't know what
else I could do.
the problem is that I don't know exactly if i keep talking to the lt_modem
driver or to the modem itself though i believe the latter.

Hi!
I've been playing around a bit with the lt-modem-driver.
the modem gets detected, i can communicate with it (probably), but i can't
dial out.
send me a PM if you want to know the steps i took till now. everybody who
wants to work on this is welcome (i sent this mail to the list some weeks ago)

my laptop also gets really hot, nevertheless the fan only turns on sometimes,
eg when compiling a kernel. in windows it's running all the time.
