Servus, I have a Vaio-Laptop running sarge (kernel: 2.6.15-1-686). This laptop becomes older and meanwhile more and more thermical problems, if the CPU is used 100% for about half an hour. The reaction is, that the computer is going down without any warnings. Because I don't like this behaviour, I would like to reduce processor-speed, until the temperature is low enough, to give it full speed again. Has anybody some hints, how to do this?
