No my current laptop is not a Centrino base. I guess I choose the wrong

preformence from my old laptop (Toshiba Sattelite Pro 1.3 Piii) that the

Well you could do a 'lspci' note the values. Then look at the supported
devices list for lm_sensors to see.

I have a Toshiba 3007-S307 and it would also staall in the boot
process, at the point the md drivers get loaded. The work around was to
