Myself, I'd use minicom and play. It looks as though something is kicking
on ttyS00 and ttyS02, so I'd check those first. A simple ATZ sent via minicom
will give you an OK or just ignore ya (no modem there). If yer ignored, try
the next one! :--)

Well,
I've had a merry night of wandering the HOWTO's, REAME's, and just
generally having a good time on google. :--) But I've yet to discover how to
configure my two pcmcia nics to be on separate addresses.

make life SO much simplier, when I need to xfer from
this machine to the one at the shop. :--) The network card & modem both are
running, wonderfully, but I've had an interest in Ir for some time. Both this,
and my 400 at the shop "should" support it. I j

Woody. Boots well, runs very well, UNTIL I begin using the mouse. Then,
suddenly, it locks all local input (e.g. mouse, keyboard, etc).
