Hi
We've had similar problems here with our Latitude machines. I forget
exactly what was causing it, but my solution was to compile a custom
kernel.

now I've got a modem card for my lap, and it seems to work, but still
something wickened prevents me to get an IP.
I've asked that on a redhat-ppp list, but got no answer :(
btw does anybody know how to access linux-ppp@vger.kernel.org ?
