How well does Linux ACPI compare to power savings under windows. This is
a new laptop with P4 mobile, ATI 7500, WiFI. Are there sleep/suspend

Hi,
Sorry for my ignora
you don't need to update to the latest test kernel, just apply the acpi patch
to the 2.4.20 kernel (there is a 2.4.20 acpi patch)
then compile the options you need into the kernel, since this is on a laptop,
most of the kernel options you need can be compiled in with out to much worry.

well, officialy, ACPI does not exist in Linux, however, there is a kernel
patch for it and it will be in the 2.6 kernel due out art the begining of

Hi all,
I newly received my I8200 with 1180 Truemobile wireless card. (note: not 1150!)
Does anybody know where to get drivers for linux. Until now I am forced to use
Windows for getting wireless access. This sucks...

I have a strange problem with my wireless pcmcia card ZyAir b -100.
I am using this confugration for it in /etc/pcmcia/config:
card "Zyxel ZyAir B-100"
manfid 0x0274, 0x1613
bind "orinoco_cs"
The card works, but sometimes it hangs up and I receive this message in
console:
