hi,
when I got back to my lpaopt just a moment ago, switching of the
screen-blanking gave a nice bright panel.
Only moment later to dim, what's going on?

I have resolved the problem now: deselect the PCMCIA support in the kernel
source and compile the pcmcia-source modules (from unstable). These work.

Right, it should be straightforward. First of all make sure you have
either eepro100 driver loaded as either a module, or in the kernel.
Next edit /etc/network/interfaces. Take a look at the interfaces(5) man
page.
Mine (on my desktop machine) looks as follows:

Hi, and sorry if I'm bothering you again.
I'm wondering if there's anyone out there with a geforce2go using the
free nvidia drivers that are included in the debian distribution.
I don't want to use non-free software, and it's annoying as hell not
getting the juice out of my card.
Thanks!

Glad you got it working :) I don't know if it is the cause, but I
understand there might be issues if you toggle the power supply on and
off, as the speedstep stuff throws the kernel timings around. I've had

Hi there!
