Has anyone installed Debian, including X and sound on a recent
Winbook laptop. They now have their 800mhz Si for $1999 and is very
temping to upgrade from my Toshiba at 150mhz.
Real life experiences appreciated.

Yep, me. I do have a 512T, too. I bought it almost a year ago and
I had Win98 and Linux on it. But when I managed to get the modem
running with Linux, my needs for Win98 disappeared. :)
Generally spoken, there is no problem with that laptop running both
Win and Linux - except that t

I'm afraid it's not a good idea to use Linux on this laptop :-(

expensive, I'm looking for another solution. Do you have
any recommendations?
BTW: What about Apollo ISDN TA, I tried this card with
