not to parrot the obvious but are you running alsa?  last i checked there
were four T20 pages on the linux-laptop site at least a couple of which
claimed to have sound working via alsa.

i just got a T20 last week and am waiting for my potato cd to arrive from
lsl ... at which point i will no longer have to suffer through win2k.
