The EFI patches have not made it into 6.0.7. As expected, 6.0.7 from
Debian still has the problem.
New EFI patches have been merged into master on November 4. I hope to

In the upstream bug, a new set of new patches were mentioned which

The error was probably caused by lightning damaged hardware. With changed
mainboard and cpu the system works with Debian Lenny without any problems.

A newly purchased dual-core amd64 machine regularely locks up. This can

I've already played with all the ACPI and APIC knobs in the BIOS,

The bug is IMHO somewhere between xfs and snapshots inside the kernel. This is
