Linux 2.6.18 image on PPro/Celeron/PII/PIII/
I tested the box for an hour with maximum incoming+outgoing traffic on the
interface without any problems.
If there's any other testing I can do please let me know.

After this the same repeat of transmit timeouts (as posted earlier) in the log
untill I down the interface.

This is still a problem with version 2.6.32-41.
Comparing the packets sent between the DHCP client and server, I notice
that the latest kernel sets the DHCP 'secs' field. The DHCP server,
which should return 0 in 'secs', returns the client's 'secs' value
instead in its DHCPOFFER. Perhaps the
ep happening untill interface has been downed.

Hi,
Is it possible to get the correct corresponding source package for this kernel?
I'm using loop-aes and with linux-source-3.2 installed I run into errors when
trying to create the module for this kernel.

Linux 2.6.36 so that it refuses to share an IRQ. Mike, why was that?
It was one of those "DUH!" moments. I had not considered the older
controllers that did not support MSI/MSI-X.
Here's a patch to fix that:

It is still useful. XCP's xapi relies on it, and we're packaging that
up for Debian right now.

I downloaded the KDE version, and on booting the DVD got to the KDE
desktop with no problems at all. (I would need to update the list of
screen resolutions to get the aspect ratio right, but no big deal, and
the sound sounds a bit tinny, but we have a running system.)

Just curious: did you ever try a CD from the last point release (6.0.3),
which includes the appropriate network drivers?
No, I haven't tried it since I've been tied up on ot

Having Debian running as a guest OS makes it trivial to switch between
systems without any dual-booting hassles.
So for anybody wanting to run both OSX and Debian on a new iMac, I'd
recomment this route.

Thanks. Mike, do you experience the same?
Both:

tall or are they thicker? How quickly do they flash? Are they
always there or only sometimes? Do they move?

In the squeeze standard 64 bit kernel (with either 64 or 32 bit
userspace) sendfile(2) is overwriting data already written to the file
descriptor by write(2). Here's a minimal test case:

I can do a new testbed install of straight Debian Squeeze and give
feedback from that if it will help.

Sorry, should have got back to you.
I cannot reproduce the problem anymore - it seems that upgrading to kernel
