Dear Maintainer,
the system does not see my soundcard (SB Audigy2) at all after having been
upgraded to the 4.4 kernel.
So, no sound at all.

Referring to issue #815173 which has been marked as fixed.
I am experiencing exact same issue as reported by the OP on Feb 16.
Current kernels installed 4.3.0.1 (no problems) and 4.4.0.1 - the boot dies
very early on, no logs in syslog / dmesg. However, it generated a
bunch of *efivars
dump files*

Have you rebooted since upgrading? (Or does the system not boot?)
We need the boot log messages, possibly as a photo of the screen if
boot fails. If you need to take a photo then please ensure that you
don't use the 'quiet' kernel parameter. In the default GRUB

Dear Maintainers,
I have a pendrive formatted with exfat file system. It mounts and
works well. When I unmount, the pendrive symbol vanishes from the
desktop screen. But stays on in the side bar in the home directory.
Also, if I try to connect an external disk drive, it does not mount.
