Package: linux-image-amd64
Version: 4.3+70~bpo8+1
Severity: normal

Dear Maintainer,

in debian jessie i can install linux-image-amd64 even if i386 is the
only architecture that is being used by apt/dpkg. however this
metapackage is not available to i386 users of jessie-backports unless
they add the amd64 architecture with

# dpkg --add-architecture amd64

for many i386 users this may be the only amd64 package they wish to
install. it would be nice if this amd64 package was in the i386
backports for the sake of convenience.

thanks,
andrew
