Hello
I'm using KDE2.2 and noatun doesn't want to play anything (wav, ogg, mp3,...)!
Arts works well

When I start a kde app, I have the message
"Qt: Locales not supported on X server"
Somebody knows what it means ?

someone would have the PPC packages that were in experimental, and could
make them available somehow, I would be very grateful ... Of course as a last
resort solution I can go back to KDE3 ...

1/ I they are no more on ftp.kde.org. Where are they located

2/ the qt3-tools package I downloaded on ftp.kde.org doesn't

I don't have the problem with the beta2 packages that were

Are these files needed ? If so, where can I find them ?

The new packages of libpng12-0 which came today in sid (1.2.5-7) break the
kde3.1 of karolina (symptoms: konqueror crashes; kicker crashes when you
use the K menu)
Coming back to 1.2.5-6 solves the problem
--
Sylvain Joyeux
1.2.5-7 is security-related (the maintainer applied two patches)

IMO, the problem in the #197157 bug isn't the Qt plugin system, but rather
the way Anton uses styles. They are not meant to be used directly by
applications : you are supposed to use the QStyleFactory class instead.

It's fixed in the experimental. They added a xlibs-pic package which
depends on xlibs-static-pic. (xf 4.3.0-0pre1v4)
--
Sylvain Joyeux
If you use (like me) something like a Default-Release "unstable" to prevent
form using the whole experimental, apt chooses the unstable version of
xlibs-pic by default. You have to tell him explicitely not to do so.
try
apt-get install -t experimental xlibs-pic

Same here. Athlon 1GHz, between 15% and 30% of cpu usage. Note that it

Some drivers support it, some don't.

This appears when /etc/kde3/ui/ui_standards.rc is missing. It's not the

If you do really want to fix that, you should take a look at tmpfs. I think
the best way to achieve what you want is building a .kde/share/config in
tmpfs, saving it on disk on shutdown, reading it from disk on start.
My 2 cents ...

This is unfortunate since there is some cvs versions that require 3.3 for

Current packages of KDE show the problem. If it could, it would be nice to

I'm not sure about that, but in KDE 3.5.6, when you change the layout of
Konqueror, like changing the background or the presentation of the file, you
have an option in the menu option and you can save your profile, like the

Yes, you can use Ksnapshot from KDE.
If you don't have you can do this :
