The problem is that KDE's m4 scripts don't search for Qt in /usr/share/qt{,3}
(according to config.log, they search in configure: 23080: /usr/lib/qt3/include/qstyle.h configure: 23080: /usr/lib/qt3/qstyle.h configure: 23080: /usr/lib/qt/include/qstyle.h configure: 23080: /usr/lib/qt/qstyle.h configure: 23080: /usr/local/qt/include/qstyle.h configure: 23080: /usr/include/qt/qstyle.h configure: 23080: /usr/include/qstyle.h configure: 23080: /usr/X11R6/include/X11/qt/qstyle.h configure: 23080: /usr/X11R6/include/qt/qstyle.h configure: 23080: /usr/X11R6/include/qt2/qstyle.h configure: 23080: /usr/X11R6/include/qstyle.h) You can export QTDIR in /etc/environment, bashrc, ... It did the trick for me. -- Sylvain Joyeux
