Hi list,
After a system upgrade today, with qt being upgraded from 4.7.4-3 to 4.8.1-1
and a seemingly minor upgrade of some kde libs from 4.7.4-4 to 4.7.4-5,
akonadi-backend-sqlite stopped working.
For now, I've installed the mysql backend, which seems to run fine (apart from
some mysql errors

Hi,
I recently tried apper as a gui for system-updates, and it mostly does what it

Any suggestions how to get kmail to acknowledge the new folder?

finally took the time to look into it and I found a workaround. In case anyone

Hi,
I would like to run a program whenever KDE activates the screen locker.
AFAIK there is no ready-to-use method to just execute a program when the
screen is locked. So far, I've found out that KDE calls
/usr/lib/kde4/libexec/kscreenlocker_greet to lock the screen. According to
some thread[1]
Thanks for the suggestion. It's definitely an interesting way to do it and
avoids the problems with replacing kscreenlocker_greet. OTOH it's a relatively
complex hack for such a (seemingly) simple task...
