Just curious, but is anyone actually insane enough to run KDE on m68k?

I've been using unofficial 3.1 debs for a while now, with ktown's as my

is korganizer avaible for kde3.1?

Hello list,
I am using KDE 3.1 from ktown (woody) on a testing system with kernel
2.4.20.
My printer is a HP Deskjet 970cxi and works fine with cups so far.
But there is a odd behaviour with it: While I am working in KDE and want to
print something and switch on the printer it is not working. So

Because there never was a klelibs4 package using the g++ 2.95 ABI.
The whole point of waiting until the transition starts before
uploading KDE was that this way we only need one version in si

I've grabbed kde-i18n-de from incoming yesterday. So it should be in
the archives now. kdenetwork, kdegames, kdegraphics etc. apparently

Well the debs anyway. :-)
How can I best delete any packages from Karolina in preparation for getting
the sid debs of KDE?

Hi,
I'm running Ralf's wonderfull 3.1 woody packages, and so far
everything is great, except that when I try to run the phoenix 0.5
binaries downloaded from their site, I get a window that is all white
and has "file:/" written in it in huge letters...
Does anyone know why this happens?

Yes and no, perhaps. I had a fully functioning CUPS installation with
Karolina's debs on my Desktop machine and Ralf's on the Laptop (thanks
to both!). Being an "early adopter" I am very satisfied with KDE 3.1.

The best way I believe to remove KDE (including Karolina's package) is to
remove kdebase and kdelibs. It's the same procedure as explained on David
Pasley's (Forgive me if I'm misspelling your name, Dave) website.

Sorry to gum up your inboxes with yet one more email, but I wanted to
thank John Mitchell and Asheesh Laroya for responding to my "SOS: I

of advice and that was all I needed.

I am currently unable to update to KDE 3 on my machine. When I try to
install kdenetwork, a list of dependency problems spring up.
I'm using download.us.kde.org/pub/kde/stable/latest/Debian stable main as
my source for KDE.
Any ideas? I'm on a windows box until I can install kdenetwork on my

I've changed my apt sources.list file to point directly at sid. I cannot
find the kdenetwork meta package.
How can I get kmail and knode?

I should read any responses to old mail before asking new questions...
Let me start by saying I personally have had no problems with your Qt
packages.
