With the announcement that KDE released 3.5 yesterday, does this mean
that the packaging work of 3.5RC1 will cease immediately and attention
will turn to 3.5? If so, is there a chance that 3.5 will make it into
Unstable by Christmas? :-)

Your reasons for wanting kdebase to be rebuilt with experimental dbus/hal
seem mainly to boil down to a desire to run both GNOME and KDE from

i'm having a problem with the amd64 packages provided by mikmak. Kontact
simply explodes whenever i try to send a mail from the kmail part. It doesn't
even show up the backtrace window... From kmail it seems to run fine.
anyone else has had problems with this?

I disagree for some reasons:
- People testing stuff from experimental will probably also want to test
DBUS and GNOME from experimental
AMD64 packages :
deb ftp://ftp-fourier.ujf-grenoble.fr/debian/kde35rc1/ ./
these packages are not provided by the KDE packagers team, there are
just provided as is by me :) (with no warranty ... .. .. :)
