Hi Michael,
Do you know if there is any fix for this?
bug: /src/libjava/jni/gtk-peer/gnu_java_awt_peer_gtk_GtkImage.c: line
572 (createRawData): assertion failed: (data_fid != 0)
I saw your name on some of the lists and I thought I may ask you, since
I couldn't figure out how to fix it.
Thank y

So then I updated my Sun 1.4 JDK, building and installing a package
using "java-package". I even made Sun's java and java
Dear Michael,
Thank you so much for the Eclipse 3.1 packaging! I downloaded the
sources and built 3.1-9 debs.
I've got Eclipse running now, but I wanted to ask about the libswt
packages. The libswt3.1-gtk-java package built from your packaging

Hi everybody,
has anyone tried to seek down the path of strace where the EACCES leads
to the desire to write to /usr/lib and/or /usr/share? Plus
the /usr/local/lib/eclipse/plugins seems to be needed aswell? Is there
anyone having a mirror copy of the 3.1-6 debs?

Thanks you very much for porting Eclipse to a free Java! It is quite some time
that I am waiting for it.
I just installed your debs on my PowerBook running GNU/Debian testing.
Installing worked fine but while starting eclipse I got the following error:

Hello all,
Thanks to the numerous people who gave feedback on the last upload I was able
to do much fixes to the Eclipse Debian packages. They got improved very much.
The most shiny feature is the powerpc support support with pre-compiled jars
for GCJ 4.0.
The packages can be fetched via apt-get
