If Ryan is the only person who can fix this, then Debian has a problem;
it would be nice to put a w-b admin *team* in place, for redundancy and
no single point of failure.

Ah :) Well so far I have failed in executing my planned Ada
transition, because of this hold-up :) But it is not too late to
snatch victory from the jaws of defeat :)

It has been a week since I sent the request below, and I received no
answer. I am resending to the three maintainers of
Packages-arch-specific, and CCing debian-devel.
I've restricted the list of supported architectures to those where
gnat-4.1 not only exists but also builds its shared libraries.

Does anyone on this list feel like joining the packages-arch-specific
maintainers, in order to improve response time?

If you plan to do an NMU of any of my packages, please wait until I
return, so you can coordinate with me. I *do* welcome NMUs, patches
and suggestions.
Also, please see http://www.ada-france.org/debian/debian-ada-policy.html
before considering an NMU.

libgtkada2's upstream includes a copy of gtk+extra2; I don't know how up
to date this bundled version is. That's why, for the last uploads, I've
built libgtkada2 against the packaged gtk+extra instead of the bundled
copy.

TK+3 are in Debian? My intention is neither to take over maintenance of
gtk-extra nor to remove functionality from GtkAda; rather to try and give a
clear roadmap for upstream to plan the necessary changes, i.e. reimplementing
some of GtkAda's widgets with GTK+3 instead of gtk-extra.

new version of a -dev package
(i.e. libX2-dev) is *not* a complete replacement for libX1-dev,
therefore we must use neither a dummy transitional package nor a
