I'm trying to track down why some of my packages have not made into
testing. update_excuses shows one of them as out of date on hppa, but
doesn't give a buildd log showing why. Do hppa buildd logs exist
online anywhere?

I just had to recompile balsa to make it installable again, after
another of these volatile gnome libraries changed soname on me in sid.
It was just a simple recompile, no source changes except the
changelog. Of course, it's going to trigger recompiles on all the

I was writing a script to see how much a package is depended upon,
i. e. cumulatively culculating Reverse-Build-Deps, and
Reverse-dependencies. However, I thought it might be useful to see
what kind of packages have a "weight", i.e. needs fixing first for
packages to enter "testing".

I found the problem I had with the xfonts-scalable package and xftcache
that I reported. I forgot, that I still had DRI code from sourcefource
running that wasn't updated to the latest XFree86 4.1 release, so their
