Does a multi-architecture net-install CD for Debian stable exist
anywhere? Or, if not, are there significant obstacles to creating one?
Even just i386 and PPC on a single disc would be very useful.

If the next point release of etch occupies 4 DVDs (with the last one

Hi,
I'm not sure I understand. Doesn't http://www.comprarlinux.com sell the

23 CDs will always be more expensive than 3 DVDs, of course.

24% of 4.4Gb is pretty close to 1Gb. Are you sure there's not something
preventing you creating files over 1GB (e.g. ulimit). Or could your ISP be
blocking "large" downloads?
I'm not sure I understood about the "wget" problem - would you mind
clarifying it, please?

Hi Steve!
The following small patch adds the list of packages which are required
by debian-installer on sparc64. The patch has been verified to do the
right thing by several users (including me) and should also not break
anything else.
Cheers,
Adrian

I think that should be "base_include_ports_architectures" with an "s", same
above.
Thanks for fixing this issue. This has been on my TODO list for quite some time!

effort, probably?
Hmm, that's possible. Haven't thought about that.
As for hurd-i386, it's still using the Ports FTP server for
"unreleased", so we actually need to include it.

No worries. Your patch has been now applied by Steve as is so I think we can
leave it
for now.
Thanks again for fixing this!

elp from Ben though since I haven't found a suitable solution
yet. Should be a small patch though once I know how to fix it and I try to
get it committed as soon as possible not to block Alpha 4.

turns out the fix was necessary in the kernel-wedge package and
Ben has pushed something which I have tested to work:
So someone just needs to merge this.
