Due to the start of a new academic year, I don't currently have time
to immediately fix this bug, but this is high on my priority list. As
soon as I get the chance to do so, I'll do a more thorough review of

I tried with both patches and it works like a charm.
The second patch makes sense, but dunno about idmapd.conf. it probably
needs more review.

Ruby 1.8. Since the default Ruby version for wheezy is Ruby 1.9, we have
