Removing the -source package from Debian is on my TODO list.

Package: sip-tester
Severity: wishlist
sip-tester should suggest the relevant package to allow it to use GSL to
enable the extra distribution types for the pause delay. It should also
mention the reason for the suggestion in the package description.
http://sipp.sourceforge.net/doc/reference.html#
This has been fixed in upstream, updating the Debian package from
2.0.9 to 2.0.15 should resolve this.

It just crashes the kernel and leaves the system in a unusable state when the

Yeah, I tried it last night. I got expected results with the patch
bug581237_sy
Since writing that last message, I've been convinced that NULL is
not in fact valid for memcpy etc. I give my (revised) reasoning at

Consequently, I retract my last message, and now suggest rejecting the bug

Hi Michael,
The e1000 works just by chance.
The pcnet virtual network interface seems to be more stable,
but if I do a ping to the Solaris guest, then some pings are
not answered. Sample session:
# ping 192.168.0.151
PING 192.168.0.151 (192.168.0.151) 56(84) bytes of data.
64 bytes from 192.168.

Hi,
I can reproduce this, just lost the db again after a kernel panic.
Personally, I would say having a persistent db across system issues is
pretty important for this kind of daemon, e.g. I'd like to have
statistics about which kernel has which uptime.
nighthawk~$ ls -l /var/spool/uptimed/
total

Please try building the module with module-assistant:

install module-assistant
run m-a a-i nvidia

make sure the module generated by dkms is gone
try to load the module
