As it turns out, the "not a system group" bug has resurfaced. I'm not sure
which version did it, but it is a problem in 1.5.3.4870-7. A fresh install
resulted in this config:

Tonight's testing upgrade seems to fix this bug. I can now run ssh-add <
/dev/null without getting wnck-applet to take 100% CPU.

I don't think this (very old) bug exists anymore. I'm running KDE
3.5.3 now, and Nimbus Sans L seems to be working fine.
I have no idea when it was fixed. I switched to Bitstream Vera as a
workaround to this bug, and have never switched back.
