As a quick & dirt workaround, I did the following :
- Hit 'F10', then go to 'Options' -> 'Preferences' menu
- Unset the 'Show partial search results (incremental search)' entry
Then hit 'q' and try again a search with the ~ (tilde), Apt
the configuration
of Amarok with the wizard and without any problem. After that, Amarok
build the collection and just works fine...

industrial-cursor-theme has been recently removed from Sid, so it
appears under the 'Obsolete and Locally Created Package' section
in aptitude ; nevertheless gnome-themes still recommends them.

pager option : the scroll problem occurs as described
