Package: aptitude Version: 0.6.3-3 Severity: important
Hello, Same issue here, reproducible each time ; I also get this message : aptitude: /usr/include/boost/smart_ptr/scoped_ptr.hpp:91: T& boost::scoped_ptr<T>::operator*() const [with T = Xapian::Database]:Assertion `px != 0' failed. As a quick & dirt workaround, I did the following : - Hit 'F10', then go to 'Options' -> 'Preferences' menu - Unset the 'Show partial search results (incremental search)' entry Then hit 'q' and try again a search with the ~ (tilde), Aptitude doesn't SIGABRT anymore.
