I too am suffering from this. And it does not seem to be affecting
just powerpc systems. According to bug #588455, this is happening on

Using Emacs23, when you compile a program in JDE (using C-c C-v C-c),
you get the error:
wrong-type-argument number-or-marker-p "0"
jde-compile falls over when compilation is finished and goes into the
debugger if debug-on-error is enabled.

Just to point out that the above GDK_NATIVE_WINDOWS=1 method of invocation is
just a work around. The real fix has to be in Emacs23 and how it
deals with client side
windows. The link below points to a little more information.

Got this from #Emacs on Freenode. Calling emacs in the following way
fixes the problem:

Is there a lot of work involved in making awstats work with Apache2
"out of the box" ?
I've just installed awstats on my system and I'm using Apache 2. I
could document what
I do, and then have a look at it so that it can be packaged up in a
