If you downgrade glibc to 2.25-4 and rebuild the initrd then

This bug hit me too.
All my servers are using hidepid as default.
So every system I rebooted was unusable after reboot, everything
starting at boot gave the trace output, ssh'ing to the system gave
the trace output without successful ssh login :-(

Hi,
sorry for maybe duplicating the bug. I didn't see Bug#843418 :(
Firefox is 49.0-5, latest in sid. virt-manager is 1.4.0-3, latest in sid.
Desktop Environment is WindowMaker 0.95.7-6+b1 (latest in sid)
I'm not using Wayland, I use the env via NoMachine NX, so X.org.

Hi,
I have the same problem. It does not affect virt-manager alone, also
Firefox does not show any menu.
I've downgraded gtk3 down to 3.20.9-1, that made it work again. All
versions above have the problem that virt-manager, Firefox and maybe
also others do not show the menu.
