I would like to confirm that openssl.cnf provided by Kurt Roeckx
enables padlock support.
With the modified openssl.cnf 'openssl speed -evp aes-128-cbc' gives a
speed-up of over 40x (!) for 8192 blocks.
I have also verified that the padlock engine is being used by default
by applications taking a

the debianutils version installed here before the new one was an old
1.13.3. and being prior ro 1.15, run-parts --arg gave its "usage" help
about unrecognized arg "--arg".

so I think recents ppp should depend on debianutils >= 1.15 . oh my. mine
was s old ... :)
All in all , quite a useless bug report... no one will have such an old
debianutils ...
