Hello,
I've recently bought a Canon EOS 450D / Rebel XSi (model from January 2008) and
found that current stable UFRaw can't support it. Images have a useless border
and are all purple, totally unusable.
There is a patch as Arch L
ad to remove the ifupdown line from my script for it to work. Otherwise,
wireless would be on for 1s only, and shut down again. Plus, with my 900
model, wireless does not work after a suspend / resume cycle, I still must
find time to investigate both issues (might be related).

I have just tested the newer 0.3.11 version asn my Asus EEE PC 900 still
"freezes" if I use uswsusp + splashy, the bug still exists.
