Package: foomatic-gui Version: 0.7.7 Severity: normal I already have a printer created with foomatic-gui (as root). When I reopen the tool as no root user, I try to change the printer options, it seems to work, but it does nothing. In the console I can see:
[EMAIL PROTECTED]:~$ foomatic-gui cp: imposÃvel remover `/etc/cups/ppd/stylus_c67.ppd.old': Permissão negada Unable to open PPD file '/etc/cups/ppd/stylus_c67.ppd' for writing [EMAIL PROTECTED]:~$ It claims about "Permission denyed". However, there is no sort of warn of that to the user. This relates to bug #401456, where the tool only shows the error on the console.
