It was started by even "older" "qemu-system-i386 -enable-kvm -cpu pentium-v1".
Unfortunately I just hit bug #1020802.
When having those X drivers not being tried to load,

So due to the current documentation [1] it looks like plain Pentium will
not be supported in bookworm
