Package: rssguard Version: 4.0.4+dfsg-1+b1 Severity: important Dear Maintainer,
I am using RSSGuard as a client for Nextcloud News, but recently (since some point in time between September 26 and October 7) the program has started crashing unpredictably after some time using it. This usually happens after some action like refreshing the feeds or copying the URL of some feed, but so far I have been unable to find the root cause, as it does not happen right after any user input, or even when the window is focused. These are the last lines of the log from one of the crashes. The failing malloc does not happen immediately after the previous lines. ``` time=" 249.327" type="debug" -> database: Message with custom ID '1225' is already present in DB and has DB ID '1228'. time=" 249.327" type="debug" -> database: Checking if message with service-specific custom ID '1224' is present in DB. time=" 249.327" type="debug" -> database: Message with custom ID '1224' is already present in DB and has DB ID '1229'. time=" 249.327" type="debug" -> database: Checking if message with service-specific custom ID '1223' is present in DB. time=" 249.327" type="debug" -> database: Message with custom ID '1223' is already present in DB and has DB ID '1230'. time=" 249.327" type="debug" -> database: Checking if message with service-specific custom ID '1221' is present in DB. time=" 249.327" type="debug" -> database: Message with custom ID '1221' is already present in DB and has DB ID '1231'. time=" 249.328" type="debug" -> feed-downloader: Updating messages in DB took 27394 microseconds. time=" 249.328" type="debug" -> feed-downloader: QPair(0,0) messages for feed 29 stored in DB. time=" 249.328" type="debug" -> feed-downloader: Made progress in feed updates, total feeds count 1/32 (id of feed is 1). time=" 249.328" type="debug" -> feed-downloader: Downloading new messages for feed ID '4' URL: 'https://www.debian.org/News/news' title: 'Debian News' in thread: '0x7f41f3fff640'. time=" 249.328" type="debug" -> database: SQLite connection 'feed_upd' is already active. time=" 249.328" type="debug" -> database: SQLite database connection 'feed_upd' to file '/home/juan/.config/RSS Guard 4/database/database.db' seems to be established. time=" 249.328" type="debug" -> network: Settings of BaseNetworkAccessManager loaded. time=" 249.331" type="debug" -> feed-model: There is request to reload feed model, reloading the 1 items individually. time=" 249.333" type="debug" -> feed-model: There is request to reload feed model, reloading the 1 items individually. time=" 249.775" type="debug" -> network: Destroying Downloader instance. time=" 249.775" type="debug" -> network: Destroying SilentNetworkAccessManager instance. time=" 249.775" type="critical" -> nextcloud: Feeds update failed with error 'QNetworkReply::ContentAccessDenied'. time=" 249.775" type="debug" -> network: Settings of BaseNetworkAccessManager loaded. malloc(): unaligned fastbin chunk detected Aborted ``` Thank you for supporting Debian and free software.
