were dropped. My experience with 1.2.11 though has been fairly stable -

This problem might have been a fluke when new udebs were pushed to
squeeze, as my test today did not show the problem, even thought it
was a reinstall of a Debian Edu installation from a few days ago.
Will have to do another test to verify it, but thought it best to
mention it here.

I was waiting for Squeeze to be released before upgrading to the latest
upstream version in case I need to push a last minute update to squeeze.
That said, if you're keen on taking the package over and have a team a
