You are right. That is the problem. Adding a '|| true' to that line
should solve it.
The reason insserv can't be enabled is a dependency loop in mysql, bug
#458798.

starts and seems to work without problem.
If I only drop the --host=... line from debian/rules for iceowl 0.7-2, I still
get the same bug.
