Sending commands to @bugs.debian.org doesn't do very much.
Sending to [EMAIL PROTECTED] does however...

It looks like the problem I am seeing on the NSLU2 is similar to
http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=81829 and all of its
reincarnations. Historically, problem has been blamed on faulty lower
level functionality (kernel, filesystem, hardware), but two different
people started seeing i

Yeah, it is, but I'm avoiding packaging a new upstream CVS snapshot at
this point in the release process. I'll see about working around it in
the next upload, though, since I also have to upload a translation

Maks asked me to check if the same delays also happen on the laptop
itself. I've checked this using the same 2.6.18-3-486 kernel, and the

The attached patch adds support for the -K option, which enables GSSAPI
credential delegation even if it's normally disabled in the configuration.
It's the converse of -k (and more useful). This flag is already supported

I just tried to boot from floppy again, and this time used the ENTER key on the
numeric key pad. It appears to work using that ENTER key. Still did not work
using the ENTER key on the qwerty area of the keyboard.

Serial console at 9600,8,n,1. Connected to a Linux machine with minicom in
vt102 emulation mode.
When I hit ENTER, the console drops down a line, so it's getting the command
(no other issues using the console so far either).

I'm not getting missing characters, but broken character symbols.
When I switch my terminal to ISO-8859-{1,15} (without switching the
LANG/LC_ALL values), characters are printed correctly.

This is hardly RC. GDB seems to work for lots of people. I'm happy to
help with bug reports, but please don't abuse severity.

Can you please upgrade to the latest version? I think it has been
fixed now, can you confirm?

This problem is not solved because it causes the Debian Installer to
fail on a NSLU2. In practice, one can manually delete the *.bin files
in /var/cache/apt/ during an install (I haven't tried to see if it
fixes the problem), but I expect that this procedure is not the user
friendly installation e
