Hello Thomas
Please cc debian-boot, since I am not
experienced with the net install images, and the people reading -boot are in
fact the ones which built those images.

Sorry, of course you can also have them built as a module, but then you also have
to have them installed.

Hi
In the light of an upcoming 3.0r1 release I wanted to bring up an issue which
stroke me a bit during installation.
I couldn't find any mouse device for a normal Amiga mouse connected to
the mouseport. I luckily had some advice from earlier days to create it as
follows:
# cd /dev/input

Hi
I did do the steps you've told me, and I've been reading some days after your
replies on debian-powerpc, which goes like this:
right after configuring the apt sources and before running tasksel:
Change 'stable' in sources.list to 'woody'
apt-get update
apt-get upgrade
This seems to be fine,

Hi
Yes, I am back to the game and just tried the latest b-f 3.0.23 from
dists/woody/main/disks-powerpc/current/apus/. The first part worked flawlessly
out-of-the-box, apart from some typos in english and german translations, but

Hi
I have already sent this mail to Philip Blundell, so I am now sending it to
the whole list, as the text seems to be ready to be commented/criticised ;) (I
dont want to open a bug just for this)
The problem is, that, as I am not sgml known I can only provide the plaint text

Hi
I am trying to install woody on an Amiga4000 APUS box (architecture: powerpc,
flavor: apus), using kernel 2.4.17 and boot-floppies 3.0.21. But, to be clear
about it, this behaviour has already occured using boot-floppies 3.0.19.

Hi
I've already reported this problem with bf-3.0.19 to both of these lists. On
linux-apus-devel I was told this would be a kernel issue, but on debian-boot, Chris
told
me it would be a dbootsrap issue and should be fixed.
Today I've downloaded the root.bin from

Hi
I've encountered some interesting behaviour of the debian installation system
during a woody installation on an Amiga4000 APUS box (architecture: powerpc,
flavor: apus), using kernel 2.4.17 and boot-floppies 3.0.19.
The case why I've encountered this at all, was, that selecting "Initialize a

I've encountered a minor orthographic mistake in the german installation welcome
message (the requester "Version-Info"). I could hunt it down in
