Hello,
on the way to a build system that enables us to use the current buildd
infrastructure for d-i images, I checked in a preliminary proposal into
cvs.
I placed it under build/debian_proposed because it discards most of the
old build system. It is quite simple:

Package: install
Version: N/A, jigdo image of 3 Oct 2003
After partitioning the disk with cfdisk, one briefly sees a
message that says "Reboot the system to ensure the partition
table is properly updated". On a modern machine it probably
scrolls by too fast to read, but it is easy to see in Bochs

kbd-chooser segfaults on hppa architecture.
It segfaults after "get console-tools/archs"

The installer doesn't gracefully handle an install without a

Each time one returns back to the main menu the installer
complains "No interfaces were detected.", gives some more

I've looked around a bit since my last post on this issue, and I've found out
how it's implemented: cdebconf heeds "fset seen" if and only if
"debconf/showold" is set to "false", _or_ the environment variable
DEBCONF_SHOWOLD exists and is set to "false". (Or both, of course.)
Does anybody know why

Hi,
the symbol parsing part of mklibs has been reworked in 0.1.12. Can you
please check whether the problem is still there and if so, how exactly
to reproduce it?

I am searching for testers for the new 2.4.22-2 serie of kernel packages

In the /install folder there is "boot.bat" startup file which contains a menu.
This menu calls a program called "choise".
Apparently there is no such program in the CD.
Due to the missing program the boot bat allways starts installing the IDEPCI flavor.
