At the moment I don't have time to work on partkit. It never
actually partitioned anything, by the way, I just got a framework
together using libparted. Feel free to use it, or not use it, as you

I see the network setup in Debian is currently done while the installer
is running. Is the network (re-)setup after the first HD reboot possible
in Woody or later?
I'd like to leave the network interfaces unconfigured until the first HD
reboot so that pre-installed Debian systems can be configured

this is the second time ive heard about this, first was from Benjamin
Herrenschmidt on irc, but he was replacing the kernel with one of his
2.4 builds so i thought perhaps that was causing it. (2.2.19 does not
boot on large number of newer PowerMacs).
