0.2.32 is the one in testing as well as the one in unstable. That is the
version that was used on 3.0.8 boot-floppies.

I hate do do a self-reply but I tracked down the problem further:
libslang needs all mathmatical functions on earth, because it provides
wrappers for all of them. libnewt instead just needs a few of slangs
functions, not including a math-function at all. Unfortunately the
library reduction seems

Howdy,
Erik has given me permission to make a BusyBox NMU to fix the wget
problem (bug #106223). I'll upload it this evening, once I have a
chance to sign it.

Hi,
in my effort to save about any byte disposable to get the
alpha-root-fs on a floppy, I'd like to ask the following: what does
libm do on the root-disk? First of all: these are the binaries using
libm (if i did not miss one):
/bin/nano-tiny (aka edit)
/sbin/cfdisk
/sbin/dbootstrap

I'm trying to install woody from floppies. I connect to the net with a
modem (ppp). As I understand it, this is possible only after installing
the base.
http://lists.debian.org/debian-boot-0107/msg00401.html has an address
where presumably I can get bootdebs, but I'm getting 403 errors.
I found

What does that mean? Is there a possibility to reduce the size
further? I'd be very interested, because I
Hi,
it has been a long time since the last "status note" about
debian-installer (which used to be posted to other lists (can't remember
it it was debian-devel-announce or debian-devel)).
Can someone post a mail explaining, what whe have, what
is going, what needs to be done, and so on.
