I've rewritten the top-level README file, it was indeed something of a
mess. Hopefully it's a bit clearer now.

No need to do that. Proper place to document changes in busybox

Some people have to use 'floppy=thinkpad' to work around an inverted
DCL on the drive. If it fails really quickly, this may be your
issue.
You can make bootable floppies by other means... For instance, I
recommend "Tom's bootdisk" (search for it, I don't have the URL).

It may be that the arguments to kernel.sh are not done properly, so
the suffix rules it is using are wrong... Be sure the 3rd argument
being passed to kernel.sh is your subarch (e.g, generic)

I've some friends are we are interested in translating installation

I already have account to webwml ie. Debian's web site under name

When the computer boots up only the default OS is loaded. The file
lilo.conf contains the lines
other=/dev/hda1
label=win
During boot up LILO does not give the option to boot the other OS that is
not the default.
I have the following partitions setup:
hda1 7GB
Are there certain details I need to give to get a
reply? I looked for the dbootstrap package at debian.org, but I guess it isn't one,
even though the message on a virtual console is "dbootstrap: Make boot floppy
failed..."

the package.

Hello all,
FYI, I have played a little around `ash', uClibc, the historic (libedit)

Here is the result for a full compatible ash with historic :

Hi,
I've got a problem (on hppa), booting in to the second stage
install. inittab says
T0:2345:respawn:/usr/sbin/termwrap /usr/sbin/dpkg-reconfigure base-config /dev/ttyS0 2>&1
and when I reboot the system I get T0 respawning too fast from init.
Rebooted with init=/bin/sh, renamed inittab.rea
