You can check this by going to the second tty (press apple+F2 to reach
that one) pressing "enter", followed by "mount". It should list at least
one partition with the "hfs" filesystem type; if it does not, you should
ensure that happens first.

Check /proc/filesystems. If it contains "ext3", then your kernel

It took way longer than I would've wanted, but I finally got where I
should've been for a lng while: quickstep is back up and running,
using the SCA disk Christian sent me, and an SCA adapter I got from
someone Andreas Barth knew.
Since we're fairly keeping up right now, though, I decided
