Hello,
I try the floppy support on my A2000/68060.
As I have forgotten the old parameters for mkfs to use floppy (I knew
them in the old time) I made the following test :
1 - format a floppy with Amigados
2 - copy some files on the floppy
3 - reboot on Linux (2.4.20)
4 - mount -t affs /dev/fd2 /mn
Hello,
I download from CVS the 2.4.21 sources and compile the new kernel
all is OK, it compiles and works as the 2.4.20 I was using.
The uptime is now A little bit more than 5 days without a problem.
As I go on holidays I will not test anything else until mid-august

I try the same work with another kernel (2.4.27) all is OK, the back-up
ended successfully.

Hello,
Is it possible to get a 2.6 kernel for m68k or the "general" kernel from
debian is OK ?
Are there some pre-requisite to compile it ? (gcc or binutils version
for example).
If it is possible I will try to compile (and run ?) it on my A2000/060.

Perhaps the "-" sign (double in the assembler error) is misplaced ?
Or is it a problem with "as" as I use recent packages for binutils :
as --version
GNU assembler 2.15
Is it a bug in the "as" in its 2.15 version ?
