Hi Kostas,
What version are you running? RC3 is known to have memory issues, these
should have been solved in the CVS version.

I have only one (minor) complaint - dbmail rc3 is over six months old.
Six months of even casual development is a lot. Maybe it's time to start

I think Eelco and Roel are indeed doing a wonderful job with this product,
but also, I must admit that Chris is right. RC3 is getting very old
(together with the website). Maybe someone on the list should volunteer
maintaining the website for DBmail and post a weekly or monthly build on it

I dont mean to defend or condone the behaviour of Mr. Damingo but I must

Maybe Eelco can add the text of my messages on the subject, updated to
include the PostgreSQL information posted by others, as a "Postfix

Well I have this problem for about 3 months!!

This is not clear to me. Please rephrase it. You're trying to get mail
from a remote server (Your ISP?) and inject it into dbmail
ok Lets start over
I built my own Mail server box running postfix and the anti-virus on it
, I have another box running Suse 7.3 postfix and dbmail on this box
number2. Number2 runs fetchmail on it when runned manually it goes
through a number of messages then suddenly it stops tells me fetchmail:

This is covered in the documentation, although it might not be
obvious. You simply add aliases to dbmail.aliases for any number of
addresses within a domain, using an S

Hi,
We have noticed a bug in Outlook 2000, corrected on the XP version, if a mailbox

I know it's not a DBmail bug but it will be good to patch i

I ran into the same problem but you can change the folder setup in the
mail setting properties.
I have another problem that happens frequently. When I'm running Outlook
and Outlook is unable to communicate to the IMAP server (tcp/ip
connection goes down, server is rebooted, router is rebooted, etc
Hello Abdulla,
I think the messages you're forwarding are getting changed
en-route, with a line-wrap or something (the "(SAST)" line
in each is invalid). Try encoding the messages (eg. forward
the mbox file as an attachment). If this is indeed the exact
messages as they sit in your mbox on the
hi all,
Just my opinion on the subject. I think for the first flame on dbmail
this one wasn't so bad ;)
Regarding the version information (RC3 / RC4 / 1.0). Dbmail has started
out a few years ago as a, in my opinion, logical way to store and
administer e-mail and e-mail accounts. It was actu
The main CVS server is hash crashed yesterday (that kind of stuff
happens after 2 years of uptime ;)
Bart is working on it to get CVS up and running as soon as possible.
