I have a recent version of Cygwin. I am having
a problem with the timestamps not updating, when
I save a file or touch files.
Example:
total 287
-rwxrwxr-x1 Administ None 416 Nov 22 13:50 #pcallc.p#
drwxrwxr-x+ 2 Administ None 4096 Nov 22 10:32 .
drwxrwxr-x+ 13 Administ No

I have just realised that after I have touched the files they
show as being updated if I view the files with Windows Explorer.
It is ls -alc and make that do not see the files as updated.

Thanks for the help - it does work now. I changed PATH inside my shell and
that worked. I guess that if I wanted to run it from windows, I would
change the windows PATH as well.

As is indicated in the strace messages (and I thought I made clear, but I
guess I didn't), I was using the 1119 snapshot.
Worse yet, I get the same result with the newer 1121 snapshot. Any idea
what I should try?
I tried rebooting in case something was hanging around in memory from the
old DLL,

Has anyone been able to get Apachetoolbox (1.5.69) under Cygwin?
Mod_ssl seem to bomb out due to environment problems, but I am stuck in
troubleshooting why. It has something to do with dllwrap.

Which brings us back to http://cygwin.com/problems.html . Since I have
no way of knowing what you're running,
I have successfully downloaded and installed cygwin on a Win2000 machine. However when
I run cygwin it is unable to create a home directory for me, and also unable to write
any of the personalization files. Cygwin tries to create a subdirectory /cygdrive/z to
store this information, but "mkdir"
I know this has been discussed lots before, but I just spent the last few
hours googling, archive searching, trying run.exe, etc. without finding a
solid answer.
What are the known issues around allowing Cygwin's inetd to interact with
the desktop, but without showing the console window?
It would
