On my 29-2, first step is to depower main by bringing traveler up and twisting off top. Crew plays the traveler to keep boat on its feet and ready to blow the main sheet if needed. Skipper feathers when necessary to keep boat on its feet. Next is to depower the genny by bringing leads aft.
