I don't think you'll earn any bargaining points. Once you drive it you'll understand. The tip of Sea Hawk's transom sits 6-9 inches above the water when balance on her lines in the slip. Under full power the tip of the transom is submerged 2-3 inches. This was the same experience on Blue Pearl

I would blame it on the cold. The chances are that there was some water somewhere there. Water and freezing does a lot of damage. We even had cryoseisme events here last week. When it gets cold enough quickly enough (from +5 C to about –25 C in less then 24 h) things tend to go boom at night. M
